Responsibilities
Provide in-depth product support and training to employees, customers, and industry partners for existing electromechanical test equipment
Design, develop, and maintain complex systems needed to support internal nuclear product qualification and testing
Partner with our Test Engineer and Special Products Assembly Supervisor to provide expert support to technicians processing a wide variety of products
Gain first-hand experience managing projects from concept inception through prototyping and integration
Identify continual improvement opportunities and participate in CI initiatives
Interface with electronics suppliers and service providers
Leverage database tools and other programs to manage and analyze test data
Qualification
Required
BS in relevant engineering discipline
3+ years of experience in an applicable role or field
Experience designing customer electromechanical systems
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
Ability to travel to customer locations, as needed, including international
Good communication skills as this position will interact with international partners and customers
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Good working knowledge of electronic components and test equipment including scopes, meters, sensors, signal generators, etc
Familiarity with ASME Section II, III and VIII. Other nuclear code or industry knowledge is a plus
Experience with safety relief valves or related equipment
Proficiency with CAD software, preferably Solidworks
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
