Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain PowerFlex solutions to ensure reliable integration and optimal system performance
Design and develop automation scripts in Python to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
Leverage VMware and OpenShift platforms for application deployment and management
Offer technical expertise and support for PowerFlex deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with various internal teams to facilitate project execution and promote knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required
Foundational understanding of Linux operating systems and major distributions (e.g., Ubuntu)
Ability to install, configure, and administer Linux/Ubuntu environments
Competence in Linux fundamentals and command-line operations
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and integration tasks
Experience working with VMware and OpenShift virtualization technologies
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
PowerFlex (core skill), with experience in PowerFlex APIs
Intermediate-level Python scripting (Python used extensively by the client)
Working knowledge of Linux, VMware, and OpenShift
Preferred
Solid grasp of SAN, NAS, and Object Storage concepts
Hands-on experience with storage build, logical provisioning, and decommissioning
Involvement in planning and executing large-scale storage migrations
Proficiency in incident, change, and problem management in mission-critical environments (e.g., BFSI)
Experience managing block storage infrastructures, including PowerFlex
Knowledge of decommissioning processes for SAN technologies
Understanding of performance and capacity management for block and file storage
Programming experience in at least one general-purpose language: Python, Java, C, C++, Go, or Shell scripting
Strong organizational, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and engage effectively with stakeholders
Collaborative mindset with a focus on high performance and accountability
