Responsibilities
Protect personnel, inventory, and premises in a secure facility
Monitor and control access to the building and restricted areas
Enforce security policies and procedures professionally and consistently
Conduct regular patrols and security checks
Maintain active firearm certification (must re-qualify annually)
Complete detailed incident and shift reports
Communicate clearly and act decisively during emergencies
Serve as a professional and reassuring presence
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED (Criminal Justice degree a plus)
Minimum of 2 years of professional security experience required (Military or law enforcement background preferred)
Valid license to carry a firearm is mandatory
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and annual re-certifications
