Family of Kidz is dedicated to helping children with special needs. They are seeking a Substitute/Floater Behavior Technician to provide academic and behavioral support to students during the school day, while working collaboratively with clinical supervisors to meet the needs of clients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide substitute coverage as needed on an on-call or fixed schedule

Provide academic/ behavioral support to student during the school day

Must have reliable transportation

Work collaboratively with a Behavior Consultant clinical supervisor to collect data

Respond to the goals, needs and requests of clients, their families and supervisors, on an individualized basis and in a professional manner

Goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work

Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

Required

Must have reliable transportation

Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting

Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field

Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent time management/organizational skills

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding clients and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

Goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work

Preferred

Bilingual is a plus
