Western Aircraft is a company specializing in aircraft services, and they are seeking an Aircraft Upholstery Technician to fabricate and install upholstery for VIP class aircraft. The role involves creating custom patterns, sewing, and fitting various interior components to meet specifications.

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Creates custom seat patterns and foam for a variety of aircraft and seat models
Sews and covers seats and interior panels using high-end leathers and fabrics
Cuts foam to conform to seat specifications
Cuts and fits, surges and binds carpets within the aircraft as required
Assist team members with removal and installation of interior components of the aircraft

Required

Ability to work from written and verbal instructions
Ability to document work performed in computer system
Detail oriented with the ability to follow instructions
Willingness and ability to adjust work processes to provide level of required detail and quality
Strong ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to work individually, with a healthy sense of urgency to provide a quality product
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be able to wear a respirator or air hood, and work in a confined environment
