Responsibilities
Support Plant Operations: Implement and maintain automation systems and new equipment to enhance efficiency
Lead Changeovers: Quickly program and configure automation systems during product transitions
Drive Innovation: Design, build, and optimize robotic End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) and automated work cells
Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic issues to keep production running smoothly
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Quality, Safety, and Plant Management teams to introduce new technologies and process improvements
Make Safety a Priority: Lead safety projects, engage in safety committees, and ensure compliance with all plant safety standards
Continuously Improve: Develop and implement initiatives to reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, and streamline automation
Advance Technology: Stay current on the latest plastics and robotics innovations to help our operations stay ahead of the curve
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in a technical field
Hands-on experience with automation, robotics, and industrial machinery
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read prints and design or build electrical enclosures
Proficiency with MS Office and excellent communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
PLC and robot programming experience
