Responsibilities
Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation’s defense against ballistic missile attacks
The GMD Weapon System processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat
We are hiring for multiple positions in Huntsville, Alabama! Opportunities for the Ground Missile Defense program include:
• Systems Engineers: MBSE, Requirements, Test
• Software Engineer C++, Full Stack, Python, Test
An ACTIVE U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance is required for all roles

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
Minimum of two (2) years relevant engineering experience
Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Master's degree in STEM field
Experience in any of the following areas: C, C++, Java, Python, Ada, GoLang, Python, SQL, Mongo DB
Recent GMD GS/GWS model development
Working in an Agile environment
Developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub
Linux Operating System, i.e. RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Developing software in Object Oriented programming language
Software development for embedded systems
Writing code Ada, C++ & Python
Review & verification of system level software requirements
MBSE

Kubernetes
Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Software integration & test execution
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
