Alabama Credit Union is looking for a Compliance Intern to prepare candidates for future work through education and experience. The intern will gain real-world experience in financial compliance and assist the department in ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act by investigating suspicious activities and organizing records.

Responsibilities

Gain knowledge on governmental requirements for Financial Institutions with; investigating suspicious activity through various reports to prevent Fraud, Money Laundering & terrorist financing; auditing new ACU accounts to ensure BSA Compliance; Filing CTRs and other reports in timely manners and more

Assist with a large project for ACU's record retention program, which will revolve around organizing physical documents and files to determine which documents are needed to be kept on file or destroyed
