Responsibilities

Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution

Receive direction as needed, and especially on difficult assignments and possible solutions

Work is completed using standard engineering techniques and design principles and is reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound professional judgement

Work closely with more senior staff members to learn about and assist with Planning work

Assist with the marketing of the firm’s capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships

Work side by side with the project team on your specialty in water/wastewater projects to improve water resources of our communities

Assist with development of plans, specifications and reports

Contribute to designs based on field investigation and inspections

Complete detailed design work and review computations

Coordinate project design aspects and prepare plans, technical specifications, contract documents and estimates

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline required at time of employment

Entry level position, no prior experience required. Any professional experience is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred

Academic or internship experience with water/wastewater systems, water treatment, water distribution, pump stations and operations strongly preferred

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and hydraulic modeling strongly preferred

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam preferred
