Western Aircraft is responsible for aircraft maintenance and services, and they are seeking a Maintenance Lead Technician. This role involves performing and leading projects related to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of aircraft, while also supervising and mentoring assigned technicians.

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Directly supervises assigned technicians
Responsible for motivating, mentoring, training, and providing constructive criticism to technicians
Ability to perform all Maintenance Tech III Duties & Responsibilities
Leads projects as assigned
Prioritizes workflow on assigned jobs
Makes technical decisions regarding discrepancies and job flow
Maintains high level of communication with Service Manager, Production Scheduling, Customer and other departments assigned to the project

Qualification

Airframe & Powerplant certificationAdvanced troubleshootingGeneral aviation experienceSupervisory experienceTechnical decision making

Required

Minimum five (5) years' experience working with general aviation airframes supported by Western Aircraft
Entry level supervisory experience
Advanced troubleshooting abilities
Airframe & Powerplant certifications required
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Ability for climbing and bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working at heights
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and 25 pounds overhead
