Associate Director, Lifecycle Marketing

Responsibilities

Lead and evolve lifecycle campaigns and reactivation programs that deepen engagement and drive acquisition and retention across key customer segments
Manage and mentor members of the Lifecycle team (three direct reports), empowering them to deliver exceptional campaign execution and reactivation program performance
Own the testing and experimentation roadmap, driving continuous improvement across messaging, segmentation, and creative
Own the reactivation strategy across lifecycle channels (campaigns, promotions, direct mail, and automation)
Act as the lifecycle marketing lead in go-to-market and cross-functional workflows, ensuring customer communications are aligned to company-wide priorities
Oversee campaign briefing, creative reviews, and approvals, serving as the strategic leader for day-to-day lifecycle work
Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement through AI-powered optimization. Lead the charge on testing emerging tools; integrate and enhance further automation and personalization into lifecycle programs
Monitor and optimize segmentation and frequency capping, ensuring messages reach the right families at the right time
Partner closely with Growth, Brand, and Care teams to deliver thoughtful, on-brand communications that enhance customer experience and loyalty
Serve as the main point of contact for Little Spoon’s CRM, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and platform optimization
Provide strategic input for promotions, inventory challenges, and fulfillment updates to protect customer experience and brand trust

Required

7+ years of lifecycle or CRM marketing experience, ideally within DTC, CPG, or subscription-based businesses
Proven success leading lifecycle campaigns that drive acquisition, retention, reactivation
Hands-on experience with Braze (or equivalent CRM) and strong understanding of audience segmentation and data hygiene
Comfort managing cross-channel programs (email, SMS, direct mail) and translating performance data into actionable insights
Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally with creative, analytics, digital product, and growth teams to build cohesive, high-impact campaigns
A strategic and analytical mindset with a deep understanding of the customer journey and lifecycle marketing best practices
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience guiding and developing high-performing teams
Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating cross-functionally
A passion for testing, iterating, and learning—balancing creative intuition with data-driven decision making
An eye for brand and creative, ensuring campaigns feel cohesive, engaging, and true to Little Spoon's voice
High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, scaling environment
