Responsibilities

Participate in test planning & test events, requirements reviews, code reviews, and architecture/software implementation reviews to improve code quality and maintainability

Perform integration testing to ensure seamless interaction between different system components

Conduct performance testing to ensure the system meets performance and scalability requirements

Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work with the development team to resolve them

Assist in configuration and maintenance of DevOps environments & pipelines at multiple classification levels, focusing on developer productivity, application performance, security monitoring, and alerting

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure infrastructure toolsets are configured, maintained, and reliable, in compliance with program requirements and Government standards

Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports

Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for Java applications

Document pipeline architectures and user processes to modify and update pipelines

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software testing and quality assurance

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing lifecycle

Required

The position requires an active Top Secret TS/SSBI security clearance (with SCI eligibility) with the ability to obtain SAP clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by the U.S. Government

Prior experience working SAP programs is required

BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field with 5+ years of related experience

Proven experience as an Integration and Test Engineer, with a focus on Java applications

Strong knowledge of Java, third-party software frameworks, and related technologies (e.g., Spring)

Demonstrated expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) including the use of GitLab, CI/CD tools, automated testing frameworks, and code quality tools in software development processes

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium)

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Comfortable working with Java and high-level programming languages

Preferred

Hold an advanced degree in a related technical field

Have domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: electronic warfare, antenna apertures, sensor resource planning/management, large-scale platform test systems, cyber physical systems
