Team Lead, Sheet Metal (Avionics)

Responsibilities

Perform involved, extensive and precise sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components
Maintain quality control on all aspects of assigned projects
Supervise, instruct and train assigned crew members
Coordinate with other crews working on aircraft minimize interference and ensure smooth work flow
Provide input to and cooperate with Engineering and Quality Assurance in development and documentation of modifications and repairs
Address minor disciplinary issues and problem resolution
Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Qualification

Aircraft structures knowledgeSheet metal operationsSupervision skillsBlueprint readingBasic computer skillsEnglish communication

Required

Advanced knowledge of aircraft structures, fastening systems, procedures and techniques
Competent at working from drawings, blueprints and written instructions
Ability to work independently or lead small projects
Supervision of the team and direction of project flow
Overall coordination of workflow for the project
