Independence Pet Group is a corporate holding company managing a diverse portfolio of pet health brands and services. They are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to analyze and evaluate the likelihood of future events to reduce and manage financial risks, completing actuarial analysis and maintaining existing models.

Responsibilities

Completes and interprets actuarial analysis, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using mathematics, statistical programming, and financial theory

Assists with the completion of rate filing documents for all states

Researches rate filings, as needed

Maintains and updates existing models, tools, and other files used for analysis

May prepare reserving, forecasting, rate filings, pricing analysis, and experience reports for review

Completes ad hoc reporting, as necessary

Completes appropriate database work, as necessary

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

4 years' relevant experience

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, other quantitative field, or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Must have passed Four+ Actuarial Exams
