Responsibilities
Lead planning and deployment of operational excellence activities, promoting a world-class culture and continuous improvement
Champion and energize the Continuous Improvement Management System, driving projects that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Organize and deliver training programs on lean methods, tools, and principles to foster a culture of operational excellence
Lead multidisciplinary teams to implement operational excellence systems and monitor progress to align with company strategy
Provide technical advice on business processes, applying strategies and tools to enhance production performance
Benchmark best practices and identify new trends and world-class indicators to keep our processes at the forefront
Communicate progress and status to align goals with company and plant strategy
Promote operational excellence locally and contribute to standardization efforts across the company
Actively support organizational values, quality, safety, and environmental systems to maintain a positive and effective workplace
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
8+ years' experience with a Bachelor's or 6+ years with a Master's in operational excellence or process improvement
Proven ability to energize and influence teams through personal leadership
Experience deploying strategic initiatives and lean tools to improve operational performance
Exceptional analytical, creative, and technical project management skills, with a strong customer focus
Outstanding communication skills—able to craft compelling stories, value propositions, and presentations for all levels of the organization
Enthusiastic and curious problem-solver with strong attention to detail
Effective listener with the ability to process information and drive informed decisions
Experience completing financial/cost analysis and prioritizing initiatives
Skilled at deploying visual management systems and understanding regulated industry quality standards (ISO, FDA)
Proven consultative skills (coaching, teaching) to drive high performance and lean adoption
Ability to interact with, coach, and influence all levels of the business, from senior leaders to shop floor teams
Project management experience with large teams and complex initiatives
