Responsibilities
Conduct store visits to support recipe preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards and corrective actions
Conduct Supply Chain audits and corrective actions
Collaborate with Supply Chain Team to vet new suppliers
Investigate food safety or quality issues and determine root causes
Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Provide technical support for new product launches
Prepare KPI reports and summarize findings for FSQA trends
Support health department inspections and address non-conformities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years in food safety and quality assurance, preferably in a multi-unit food service or retail environment
Experience managing diverse food categories, including proteins, produce, and dry items
Proven ability to conduct audits and manage supplier relationships in both national and international contexts
HACCP certification is required
ServSafe Manager certification is required
In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international food safety regulations and quality assurance practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Effective communication and leadership skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners across global operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
Preferred
Prior experience as Health Department Inspector
Prior experience in similar role with another chain restaurant
Bilingual - Spanish
