Responsibilities
Assist with the annual physical inventory & cycle count programs
Maintain, generate, and analyze periodic inventory reports
Analyze inventory, production costs, overhead, and operational expenses to identify trends and recommend improvements
Support budgets and financial forecasts
Perform month-end close activities, including analysis of accounts and preparation of journal entries
Provide financial guidance to the Production Operations group on cost accounting questions and issues
Analyze data discrepancies and assist with identifying corrective action and process improvements
Develop and prepare account reconciliations, annual audit work papers and assist with auditor inquiries
Play a key role in the improvement of financial processes, reporting, and enhanced use of financial and ERP systems
Support general ad hoc analysis and manufacturing transaction problem resolutions
Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
Ability to gather and analyze detailed financial data resulting in recommendations to business leaders
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work with various stakeholders and cross functional project teams
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Oracle ERP
Preferred
Power BI and/or Power Automate Experience
Manufacturing Experience
CPA or CMA
