Responsibilities
Oversee and manage steel detailing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and fabricators to gather necessary information for project execution
Review drawings for compliance with codes and standards, supervising detailers to ensure accurate fabrication drawings and plans
Conduct quality checks on completed deliverables to verify accuracy and completeness
Prepare project documentation and progress reports, effectively communicating project status and potential risks
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to streamline workflows
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in steel detailing and knowledge of fabrication processes
Proficient in Tekla Structures
Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
An associate degree in Detailing or similar, or 10 years minimum structural steel detailing experience
Familiarity with construction processes and building codes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
