Responsibilities

Partner with our outsourced accounting firm to ensure timely and accurate month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Manage client invoicing, collections, and vendor payments, including reimbursements through Ramp
Partner with People Ops to process payroll for employees and contractors, ensuring accurate benefits, deductions, and headcount data
Maintain and update the company’s financial model with actuals and assist with forecasting and budgeting cycles
Track and analyze company expenses, flag variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Help prepare monthly financial summaries and presentations for investors and board meetings
Manage insurance documentation, COI requests, policy renewals, and business or tax registrations
Contribute to improving internal controls, policies, and workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
3+ years of accounting or finance experience
Strong grasp of accounting principles, with the ability to manage both recurring daily tasks and more strategic financial projects
Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment
Clear and effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across teams

Preferred

Experience working for a tech company, with familiarity in software revenue recognition
Exposure to startup environments, including financial planning and scaling operations
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
