AI Security Engineer
Cranium is focused on advancing the state of AI security through a collaborative process with a diverse team. As an AI Security Engineer, you will support client AI Security programs by performing threat modeling, penetration testing, and providing technical insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Support client AI Security program offices:
Perform threat modeling, security review, penetration testing, and red teaming of AI systems
Identify vulnerabilities in AI Systems
Provide mitigation recommendations
Provide technical insights to stakeholders
Collaborate with technical staff, clients, the security community, and partners
Synthesize viewpoints to shape security stances and advocacy
Build relationships to improve communication and collaboration across our AI Trust Hubs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
Hands-on project experience using programming languages (Python preferred)
Experience working with Linux systems
Familiarity with AI/ML methods and stacks for deep learning, large language models, reinforcement learning, classification, etc
Commitment to staying up to date with the latest AI security vulnerabilities and best practices
Preferred
Considerable experience in adversarial Machine Learning
Demonstrable experience with MITRE ATLAS / ATT&CK Frameworks, or related tools
Familiarity with model pen testing frameworks like Pyrit, Garak, and Adversarial Robustness Toolbox
Experience working with Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) methods and stacks (e.g. Hugging Face, Langchain, Vector Databases, General Purpose Transformers, etc)
Experience working with databases (e.g. SQL, MongoDB, etc)
Experience building, testing, debugging software solutions
Experience with AI/ML threat modeling, penetration testing, or developing adversarial technologies for ethical security practices
Experience in managing and executing penetration testing projects
Experience in establishing and managing Red Team or application penetration testing programs
