Marine Alignment Engineer

Responsibilities

Execute mechanical services such as: Alignment, Chocking, Mounting, Vibration data collecting
Execute or understand basics of mechanical services: Vibration data analyzing, 3D measuring and survey, Onsite machining, Work/project preparation, able to produce all standard technical reports
And Hour/material registration
Run their operations according to the SKF Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Policies, and work according to the SKF Quality Management System
If the operation is EHS certified, work according to the SKF EHS Management System
To follow management instructions and procedures; to report Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) risks and EHS related incidents; to follow quality specifications and requirements and identify quality risks and opportunities for improvement
To take appropriate actions to maintain and improve the working environment and working practices
To ensure that ISO 9001, SKF internal quality systems and other applicable standards are followed
Company Truck will be provided
Extensive travel could be required
Potential travel includes outside of the US
Employees are expected to put in a full day’s work, hours will vary depending on customer requirements
SKF Service Delivery is a 24/7 – 365 operation and engineers will be required to work overtime including weekends and holidays when required, as well as outside the US
