Responsibilities
Adjust and operate modern survey equipment
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to perform various types of construction staking and layout
Record survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, and sketches
Perform property research and collect field data to execute boundary surveys
Process survey data and create boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and as-built surveys for use with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Report directly to a Senior Professional Land Surveyor
Qualification
Required
3+ years of related surveying experience
Ability to work independently on project sites while complying with all applicable safety requirements
Work effectively both independently and as a team member
Microsoft Word and Excel
Perform responsibilities with attention to detail and deadlines
Associate degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience (required)
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., walk or stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and climbing
Good vision, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness are essential
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Engineering (preferred)
