Intern - Office Technical Assistant
OOCL North America Group is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal companies. They are seeking an Office Technical Assistant Intern to support initiatives in office technology management and usage, providing hands-on experience in office operations and technical inventory control.
Responsibilities
The intern will evaluate and provide ideas to evolve the system to manage the office’s technical inventory, including monitors, computers, and other equipment. Responsibilities include:
Cataloging current inventory
Tracking usage and availability
Recommending replacement or recycling timelines
Creating a sustainable and accessible inventory management process
The intern will create user-friendly guides and training materials to help staff effectively use office systems and equipment. This includes:
Testing and documenting how to operate audio, video, and computer systems in conference rooms
Identifying common usage issues and proposing solutions
Collaborating with team members to ensure clarity and usability of materials
Qualification
Required
Background in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to analyze workflows and propose improvements
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
Interest in office operations and technical systems
