Mid-West US Regional Sales Manager
Deccan International is a trusted leader in decision-support tools for fire and EMS departments. The Regional Sales Manager will manage the full sales lifecycle within their territory, leveraging industry knowledge to generate leads and effectively communicate Deccan's software offerings.

Responsibilities
Leveraging fire/EMS industry background to effectively communicate the value of Deccan’s offerings to other fire/EMS industry professionals
Generating and developing new Fire/EMS sales leads with a “hunting” mentality
Creating and presenting professional demonstrations or presentations of company software applications and/or services, both onsite and online
Attending public safety conferences and tradeshows to network and prospect
Responding to both direct and CAD Vendor RFPs/RFIs
Taking initiative to stay up to date on new company software applications, services and procedures
Maintaining relevant info. and updates in Salesforce (Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, etc.) including forecast
Generating and providing quotes to customers
Maintaining an expense account
Maintaining professionalism
Travel up to 50%
Qualification
Required
Only accepting candidates who live in Mid-West US
5+ years' experience in an executive level position within a public safety department with demonstrated experience in finance, technology or logistics preferred
Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Business Administration, or relevant field from an accredited institution required
Experience with public safety software required
Exceptional people skills and an outgoing personality
Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills

Quick learner with ability to proactively seek out answers/solutions
Polished, professional written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, including excellence in oral and written communication
Ability to work in a high-volume environment while maintaining solid productivity and quality of work
Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and provide excellent customer service
