Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies to secure high-quality materials, equipment, and services for EPC projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align procurement activities with project timelines
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers of electrical materials and components
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements for the company
Ensure timely procurement of products according to project timelines and budget requirements
Develop and manage vendor relationships, ensuring supplier performance meets company and project standards
Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, preferably within the electrical or construction industry
Previous experience working on major projects with procurements spend greater than $5M an asset
Strong understanding of electrical components, systems and supply markets
Excellent negotiation, communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in ERP Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
