Harmattan AI is a next-generation defense prime focused on building autonomous and scalable defense systems. They are seeking an experienced U.S. Air Force Business Developer to enhance their presence in the Air Force market by leading customer engagement and strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Business Development
Identify, qualify, and pursue new Air Force business opportunities
Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline with clear revenue and growth objectives
Develop and execute capture strategies aligned with Air Force priorities and budgets
Sales & Client Engagement
Engage decision-makers across PEOs, innovation units, and operational commands
Deliver high-impact demonstrations and briefings of Harmattan AI’s solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to shape proposals, refine capabilities, and ensure customer alignment
Stakeholder & Government Relations
Represent Harmattan AI at Air Force events, industry days, and conferences
Build relationships with operators, acquisition officers, and key influencers in the Air Force ecosystem
Provide market intelligence and reporting to support corporate growth strategy
Qualification
Required
3+ years in business development or defense sales within the U.S. market
Prior experience working with or selling to the U.S. Air Force
Familiarity with aerospace, ISR, autonomy, and defense AI technologies
Proven track record in complex deal navigation and capture within DoD procurement
Knowledge of Air Force contracting, innovation offices (AFWERX, DIU, AFLCMC), and acquisition cycles
Excellent verbal and written communication, able to engage senior stakeholders and technical audiences alike
Entrepreneurial, disciplined, and driven by mission impact and tangible results
