They are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Electrical Estimator to develop accurate and comprehensive estimates for low voltage construction projects, collaborating with various teams to ensure project goals are met.

Responsibilities

Develop project cost estimates based on schematic and/or detailed designs

Perform complete and detailed takeoffs in estimating software

Maintain and operate all aspects of the estimating software, including takeoff applications and material/labor databases

Review subcontractor and vendor quotes and compile job-specific clarifications and exclusions

Develop initial budgets and estimates with or without engineering drawings or specifications

Maintain current and historical construction costs and bid result databases

Collaborate with engineering, sales, and business development teams to influence design and identify project risks

Assist in the development of RFPs for subcontractors and vendors

Participate in discussions and meetings with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and internal stakeholders

Manage and lead a team of estimators

Coach and mentor junior estimators and delegate responsibilities effectively

Maintain the teams bid log and all correspondence with customers

Communicate project details clearly across teams and ensure alignment with project goals
