Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking Human Resources Interns to join their Cedar Point Internship Program, which aims to inspire and equip the next generation of leaders. Interns will engage in meaningful work across various HR functions, including employee relations, HRIS, and associate experience, while developing leadership and professional skills.

Responsibilities
Create, organize, and facilitate employee events, recognition initiatives, and engagement programs for a diverse workforce of over 5,000 associates
Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience by promoting connection, inclusion, and a sense of community
Partner with HR professionals to provide excellent service to associates and complete a variety of projects
Focus on the utilization of HRIS and Administrative systems, associate medical accommodations, and the Social Security card acquisition process for international associates
Assist with workplace investigations, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and data tracking related to employee relations
Collaborate with HR professionals to promote fair practices, enhance communication, and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be attending an accredited college or university
Work a minimum of 8 weeks between May 1-August 31
Minimum of 4 days per week of full availability
2 of the 4 days must include either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday
Work a minimum average of 32 hours per week
Attend required professional development events
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
