Buro Happold is seeking an entry-level BIM & Computational Designer to join their dynamic MEP building design team. This role is ideal for recent graduates interested in digital design and automation, providing foundational BIM skills and exposure to exciting projects while working collaboratively with industry experts.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and technical support to project teams in developing and managing BIM models using Revit

Participate in the input of geometry and data into BIM models

Develop and maintain Revit content libraries through the creation of families and learning documentation standards

Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal BIM standards and templates

QA pre issue and QA post issue construction documents to ensure they uphold Buro Happold’s design standards

Engage with cloud-based collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud

Assist in training and mentoring team members in BIM and computational design tools

Develop automated solutions to augment and enhance our BIM processes

Contribute to our open-source coding platform BHoM (bhom.xyz)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across a global practice

Actively review emerging technologies and industry wide BIM design applications

Ensure compliance with industry standards including ISO 19650

Participate in EDI and OH&S initiatives to promote a safe and inclusive workplace

Qualification

Required

A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management

Familiarity with BIM modelling software such as Revit

Interest and/or experience in visual programming (Dynamo, Grasshopper), coding (Python, C#)

Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner

Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Strong written and verbal communication skills
