Responsibilities

Research, gather, and analyze project requirements to deliver effective solutions
Create technical documentation, design templates, style guides, and development standards
Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and sitemaps to communicate design concepts
Build custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch; modify existing ones for new requirements
Maintain and administer WordPress installations, ensuring security, scalability, and performance
Create responsive, mobile-first layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
Utilize JavaScript and frameworks (e.g., jQuery) to enhance interactivity and user experience
Integrate with APIs and third-party services as needed
Optimize sites for SEO, accessibility, and loading speed; implement Google Tag Manager, Analytics, and other tracking tools
Test and troubleshoot across browsers, devices, and operating systems
Implement and monitor site performance benchmarking tests
Build reusable code and maintain libraries for future efficiency
Collaborate with designers, animators, and content creators to deliver cohesive solutions
Mentor junior developers and share best practices to elevate team capabilities
Identify and contribute to process improvements for development workflows

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of competence in Computer Science/Web Programming
6+ years' experience in web development, with at least 4 years in WordPress/PHP
4+ years' experience with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind) and responsive design
Expertise in WordPress CMS, including API usage, plugin functionality, custom theme development, and advanced customization
Strong understanding of UX principles, wireframing, and prototyping
Skilled in responsive and parallax website design principles, and implementation
Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe XD, or Figma
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
Knowledge of SEO best practices, site speed optimization, and accessibility standards
Experience architecting a data flow to connect GA4 user data with CRMs, enabling full-funnel ROI analysis from initial website visit to closed deal
Experience setting up tracking to identify user drop-off points within multi-step forms, providing critical data for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Preferred

Familiarity with SharePoint for content and document management
Experience developing advanced attribution reports and models that accurately showcase the interplay between organic search, paid media, social, and email channels
Experience building custom GA4 explorations and automated Looker Studio dashboards to visualize complex conversion funnels and user pathways
