The role involves organizing production materials, assisting with press maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Organize production and supporting materials such as paper, ink and plates
Assist with daily, weekly and monthly press maintenance
Lifting and stacking pallets, cardboard and printed materials
Operate hand-jacks, forklifts or other similar equipment to move materials from shipping, receiving and staging areas to and from the press
Assist in plate/blanket replacement
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations
Other assigned duties as required by management

Required

Ability to operate hand jacks and forklifts
Ability to follow and carry out instruction with excellent attention to detail
Positive and professional interpersonal skills required
Effective oral and written communication
High school diploma or GED
Must have the ability to read, write and effectively communicate with crew members and other employees in the manufacturing/warehouse areas
Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40–50 lbs
Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs

Preferred

Previous experience in shipping/and or supply chain systems within a warehouse environment
