Latitude Inc is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design/Controls Engineer with strong experience in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA systems. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement automation control systems, including hardware and software, to meet project requirements
Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent) for industrial applications
Develop and configure HMI and SCADA interfaces for system monitoring, control, and reporting
Create and maintain electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning both in-house and on-site
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define system specifications and deliver solutions on time and within budget
Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and best engineering practices
Provide technical support, training, and documentation for installed systems
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance

Required

Strong experience in PLC programming
Experience with HMI/SCADA systems
Ability to design, develop, program, and implement industrial automation and control systems
Hands-on engineering skills from concept to commissioning
Ability to ensure systems are reliable, safe, and optimized for performance
Experience programming, testing, and troubleshooting PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)
Ability to develop and configure HMI and SCADA interfaces for system monitoring, control, and reporting
Experience creating and maintaining electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
Experience performing system integration, testing, and commissioning both in-house and on-site
Ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define system specifications
Ability to ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and best engineering practices
Ability to provide technical support, training, and documentation for installed systems
