Responsibilities

Proactively engage and follow up with warm leads from marketing events, website inquiries, vendor partners, and trade shows
Position and promote Macnica’s portfolio of image sensors, semiconductors, SoMs, SBCs, display solutions, engineering services, and more
Qualify customer opportunities through thoughtful discovery and probing techniques
Identify customer challenges and recommend tailored sensor-to-solution offerings that include components, design support, and integrated products
Build strong technical and business relationships with prospective customers in key verticals
Work collaboratively with regional and vertically aligned Sales Directors, supporting strategic account engagement and territory development
Manage a defined geographic territory, contributing to pipeline growth and revenue goals
Support and augment Field Sales Representatives by stepping into FAE (Field Applications Engineer) roles as needed to ensure comprehensive technical coverage
Collaborate with internal teams including Field Application Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Product Management to drive opportunities from discovery to close
Maintain detailed customer engagement and opportunity records within Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Represent Macnica Americas at key events, trade shows, and customer visits (10–25% travel)

Required

Strong technical background in image sensor technology and a solid understanding of embedded systems or electronics
Demonstrated experience positioning complex technology solutions to engineering and procurement audiences
Highly motivated, organized, and comfortable with proactive outbound sales calls and customer engagement
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical features into customer value
Self-starter with a passion for innovation and technology
3–5 years of experience in a technical sales, applications engineering, or business development role
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience working with or selling into the related industry

Preferred

Familiarity with system design, SoMs, or AI/ML edge solutions is a plus
Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar systems
