Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise Gate Attendant operations and traffic flow at gates
Responsible for communicating event notes and updates to Gate attendants and Outside Operations Management before and after events
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment such as cashless parking equipment, and radios
Assist in the training and supervision of Gate Attendants and temporary staff
Ensure Gate Attendants follow all company policies and procedures
Resolve customer and Gate staff complaints and issues or escalate to Outside Operations Management
Function as a Gate Attendant, when needed
May perform other duties as assigned
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Qualification
Required
Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Demonstrate exceptional skills in customer relations, communications and problem solving
Position is routinely required to work outdoors and is exposed to year-round weather elements (heat, rain, cold, etc.)
The ability to work long and irregular hours may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends, and holidays
High School diploma or GED required
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to supervise and give direction
Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
Good written, verbal and computer skills
Operate standard office equipment and personal computer(s) using MS Windows, Excel, MS Word, and other Parking Systems software
Be licensed to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Preferred
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
