Responsibilities

Fieldwork such as soil, surface water and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight, and remediation treatment system operation and maintenance
Treatment system commissioning, troubleshooting, and monitoring
Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, design calculations, and implementation
Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting
Preparation of technical specifications and contract documents for construction
CAD design and drafting of design/construction documents
Data analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures
Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline
Ability to perform regular field work (approximately 50%) and overnight travel
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel

Preferred

Advanced degree in environmental, civil, chemical engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
At least 2 years of related prior experience and/or research; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior professional or internship experience in environmental consulting
Prior research experience in contaminated media or remediation technology
Experience with Microsoft Office, ArcView, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D
