Responsibilities
Manage international shipments across all modes, including Ocean (FCL/LCL), Air, Drayage, and Intermodal/Rail
Ensure compliance with FMC, CTPAT, and international trade regulations
Proactively solve problems and bring innovative ideas that enhance efficiency and growth
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the international market to expand ALC’s reach
Negotiate rates and contracts with a focus on profitability and service excellence
Build and strengthen relationships with customers, carriers, and global partners
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience in international logistics operations (Ocean, Air, Drayage, Intermodal/Rail)
Deep understanding of global freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and compliance
A driven, resilient, and competitive personality — someone who's not afraid to chase new business and close deals
Proven ability to balance operations and sales — you can execute flawlessly while keeping an eye on the next opportunity
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Team-oriented with a high sense of accountability and follow-through
