Responsibilities
Originate, structure, and execute commercial real estate debt and equity transactions
Conduct quick analyses, financial modeling, and underwriting for active deals
Communicate daily with borrowers, lenders, attorneys, title/escrow officers, and third-party vendors
Maintain detailed transaction checklists, timelines, and loan application files
Coordinate loan documentation, third-party requirements, and closing deliverables
Review, organize, and submit lender closing documentation, zoning letters, and certificates of occupancy
Manage post-closing processes, ensuring accurate submission to servicing and clients
Track active pipeline activity and maintain reporting within MBP’s CRM
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical, underwriting, and Excel modeling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication with strong client management presence
Exceptional organization and project management skills; able to handle multiple deals concurrently
Confident, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Target-driven with ambition to grow and succeed in a sales-driven environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Real Estate preferred
2+ years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets, lending, or banking (originations experience preferred)
Familiarity with escrow, title, or legal documentation a plus
