Responsibilities

Communicates with all knitting personal on machine performance issues

Documents issues on the “white communication board”

Informs Master Technician, Head Technician or Manager of any parts on-hand issues

Review the machine’s LCD to evaluate production and stops to determine potential issues

Communicates yarn performance issues to the Manager

Participates in shift meetings

Performs weekly machine maintenance on assigned machines to meet expectations per the audit conducted by the Master Technician, Head Technician or Manager

Performs style and size changes within capabilities

Makes repairs and replaces parts per capabilities

Re-needle and sinker the knitting machines as needed

Helps out with Knitter, Senior Inspector or Inspector duties as needed

Keeps work areas clean

Other duties and projects as assigned
