Continuous Improvement Summer Intern

They are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Summer Intern to support various improvement projects within their Continuous Improvement department, focusing on process optimization and collaboration with operations teams.

Responsibilities

Assist with Lean Kaizen Events: Support the planning, facilitation, and execution of Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement in processes and workflows
Process Improvement Support: Contribute to identifying opportunities for process optimization, including gathering data, analyzing current processes, and recommending improvements
CI. Administrative Tasks: Help maintain documentation related to continuous improvement activities, including tracking action items, reporting progress, and updating performance metrics
Project Support: Provide support on ongoing C.I. and operational projects, assisting with implementation, tracking milestones, and ensuring project goals are met
Collaboration with Operations Teams: Work closely with operations teams to understand challenges and contribute to finding effective solutions
Data Collection & Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to process performance, efficiency, and quality, and present findings to the team
Training & Knowledge Sharing: Help organize and participate in training sessions on lean principles and other continuous improvement methodologies for team members
Support Continuous Improvement Culture: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging best practices, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting change initiatives

Required

Actively pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related field with a GPA of 3.0

Detail-Oriented
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
