Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, design, and construction phases of engineering projects
Conduct field investigations, inspections, and construction observations under supervision
Perform engineering calculations, data analysis, and technical documentation to support project delivery
Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and feasibility studies
Collaborate with project teams and maintain communication with internal stakeholders
Utilize digital tools such as Microsoft Office, BIM, and modeling/analysis software
Participate in client meetings and site visits as part of professional development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Foundational understanding of engineering principles and design practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAD, BIM, and modeling software
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Desire to pursue Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and eventual Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Internship or co-op in a consulting engineering firm preferred but not required
