Responsibilities

Serve as watch engineer with the responsibility of operation and maintenance of the Central Heating Plant
Maintain continuous surveillance over operation of the boilers and ancillary boiler systems, and chillers and air conditioning air handlers, pumps, and heat exchangers located within the hospital mechanical rooms
Make routine adjustments and repairs on auxiliary equipment, inspect all machinery and make emergency repairs
Must be experienced and when required, be capable of correcting malfunctioning refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment

NYC/Dept of Buildings Engineer's licenseNYC Fire Department Refrigeration LicenseHVAC equipment maintenanceBoiler operationHigh School diploma/GED

Required

Must possess a current NYC/Dept of Buildings Engineer's license to operate boilers, engines and pumps
NYC Fire Department Refrigeration License is required
High School diploma/GED required
