Sr. Data/Interface Analyst

The role involves collecting and aggregating data, confirming reporting requirements, and creating comprehensive reports to support project teams and management.

Responsibilities
Collect and aggregate data from providers in collaboration with project teams
Confirm reporting requirements by studying our data warehouses
Confer with management on project leads
Aggregate and gather data from providers
Perform completeness check on reporting data
Contact providers and project teams when data deficiencies are identified
Create quarterly reports/bi-annual reports
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare environment
Experience in a hospital or managed care environment with a focus on claims data analysis, provider contracting or decision support, especially in cost and utilization analysis
A working knowledge of industry coding (revenue codes, ICD 9 classifications, CPT codes, etc.)
Strong knowledge of SQL, SAS or Microsoft Access programming
Minimum level computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment: Advanced
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, other technical skills preferred
Strong skills in SAS or SQL programming
Strong Internet research capabilities
Attention to detail
Write and communicate effectively
Work well independently or as part of a team
Be open to pursuing additional training/education as required to meet emerging requirements
Manage competing deadlines and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Meditech / NPR / Tableau / Excel Knowledge Preferred
Business Master's degree a plus
