MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (WORKFORCE DATA)
The U.S. Border Patrol, part of the Department of Homeland Security, is seeking a Management and Program Analyst specializing in Workforce Data. Responsibilities
Liaising directly with stakeholders in sister components such as Human Resources Management (HRM) and the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) to assess their knowledge and decision-making asset shortfalls
Performing analytical work that applies data management theories, techniques, and methods for gathering, studying, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting of data
Applying data management and analysis techniques to study, gather, interpret, develop, and report on USBP projections
Developing procedures for collecting and tabulating data and recommending new and improved methods for maintaining reports related to personnel data and workforce management functions

Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 11/12/2025

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as preparing a variety of analytical reports, memoranda, and technical documents on USBP programs and workforce; selecting and modifying data collection and application techniques and methods to produce accurate and timely analysis; analyzing fundings and evaluating statistical limitations of data collected; producing biweekly reports with the ability to generate and modify them as needed, as well as presenting the findings to USBP leadership; creating new efficient and effective reports to meet recurring and ad hoc needs as well as developing forecasting models for planning purposes
