Orchard Robotics is a Series A startup focused on securing America’s food supply through AI technology. The Strategic Operations Lead will play a crucial role in connecting various teams, managing customer success, and ensuring operational efficiency within the company.

Responsibilities

Be the glue. Connect customers, engineering, operations, and sales to ensure nothing slips through the cracks

Cross-functional coordinator of customer success. Handle customer communications, track issues internally, organize QA initiatives, coordinate solutions with our engineering team and operations teams, and ensure flawless delivery

Operate across our company. Manage moving pieces across marketing campaigns, field deployments, customer onboarding, and software rollouts

Communicate relentlessly. Write crisp updates, escalate smartly, and stay on top of making sure everyone is aligned, both internally and externally

Problem-solve autonomously. When something breaks or stalls, you find the answer fast. And you build playbooks, analytics, and reporting processes to make sure it doesn't happen again in the future

Do whatever it takes. From creating marketing materials in Canva to managing field data uploads or coordinating logistics, you make things happen

Build for scale. Turn challenges into systems: document processes, automate tasks, and build Standard Operating Procedures to solve challenges at scale over time

Guard the details. Maintain an obsessive focus on precision, quality, and follow-through

Required

Early-career operator with 2-5 years of industry experience in a fast-moving environment (startup, operations, or customer-facing tech)

Tech and AI-native. Fluent in Slack, Linear, Notion, Google Workspace, Canva, AI tools, and modern ops tools

High-agency executor. You don't wait for direction; you take ownership, figure it out, and deliver results

Excellent communicator. Confident with communicating respectfully, clearly, and constantly with customers, engineers, and executives alike

Comfortable with unglamorous work. You're willing to do what others won't to make the company succeed

Detail-obsessed and reliable. You catch what others miss and never let things fall through the cracks. You're good at getting to the bottom of things and are willing to do whatever it takes to succeed
