Responsibilities

Serve as a design lead and technical advisor for staff engineers and CAD operators
Manage tasks and/or projects as assigned
Assist with the pursuit of new projects
Produce technical reports as needed
Prepare cost proposals for projects
Develop project deliverables including design computations, contract drawings, specifications, and estimates
Occasionally travel to project/client sites to complete tasks or attend meeting

Qualification

Licensed Professional EngineerStructural engineering experienceTransportation structures designAASHTO standards3D finite element analysisMicrosoft Office proficiencyAutoCAD proficiencyPositive working relationshipsCommunication skills

Required

BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program
A minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience in the structural engineering field
Licensed Professional Engineer
Familiarity with AASHTO, MassDOT, NHDOT and/or CTDOT standards
Experience performing design and analysis of transportation structures including bridges, culverts, walls, and sign structures
Familiarity with general purpose structural analysis software design software
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team members
Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving practices

Preferred

MSCE preferred
MA, CT, NH PE license a plus
3D finite element analysis experience strongly preferred
MicroStation experience a plus
