Disability Law Group is dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients with disabilities. The Personal Injury Paralegal will support attorneys by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and communicating with clients to facilitate the resolution of personal injury cases.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Review and organize medical records, police reports, insurance documents, and other relevant case materials for evidence collection
Conduct legal research as necessary to support case strategies and arguments
Liaison with insurance companies and providers
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on case status and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy
Coordinate client intake and assist in gathering relevant information for case evaluation
Obtain and organize client authorizations and other necessary documentation
Assist attorneys with scheduling appointments, depositions, and court appearances
Provide administrative support during trials, including managing exhibits and assisting with courtroom technology
Assist in preparing trial binders, exhibits, and other materials for court proceedings

Required

Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred
Previous experience working as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm or related field
Strong research and writing skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer software
