Responsibilities
Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and regression suites across Collate’s web and AI-based workflows
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to identify bugs early and ensure high-quality product releases
Test AI-driven outputs — evaluating model accuracy, edge cases, and failure points
Validate integrations between data systems, APIs, and AI components
Maintain documentation of testing results and participate in QA process improvements
(Nice to have) Design and run automated tests using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or similar
Partner with the science team to understand and validate workflows related to experimental data and life sciences
Cross collaborate with Product, UX, Operations, Software teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in software QA (manual testing required; automation a plus)
Experience testing AI- or ML-driven systems (familiarity with model evaluation, hallucination, or prompt consistency)
Background or exposure to life sciences, biotech, or healthcare applications
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience working in startup or fast-paced product environments
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
Design and run automated tests using frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or similar
