Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed mechanical drawings and schematics for electrical distribution equipment
Develop and maintain bill of materials (BOM) structures for new and existing products
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the accuracy of design and manufacturing documentation
Create and maintain engineering change requests and update documentation accordingly
Support production and quality assurance activities by providing technical guidance and answering questions
Manage document control processes, including revision control and document distribution
Assist with the preparation of production process instructions and work instructions

Qualification

3D CAD softwareMechanical design principlesManufacturing processesBill of materials managementTechnical guidance

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Drafter/Designer
Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Pro/Engineer
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
