They are seeking a full-time Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Assistant to perform geophysical location and designation of subsurface utilities, assist in proposal preparation, and document findings through sketches and reports.

Responsibilities
Involve geophysical/electronic location and designation of subsurface utilities using surface geophysical equipment
Document the work through the preparation of sketches, spreadsheets, and written reports
Work in the field, performing both utility mark out and geophysical surveying activities
Assist with proposal and invoice preparation, using geophysical equipment software to interpret field data, and provide written reports with findings
Present findings on CAD maps/plans
Assist in other areas of work, as needs dictate
Qualification
Required
Associate degrees in civil engineering, geotechnical or physics fields
Proficiency of AutoCAD and basic knowledge of Civil 3D
Proficiency in computer and MS office
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Able to carry 50 Ib of equipment
Preferred
Bachelor's degrees in geotechnical or physics fields. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is a plus
2 years of experience in Civil Engineering fields
Any experience in NDT and SUE fields is a plus
Familiarity with CI/ASCE 38-22 standards and technical utility investigation is a plus
Familiarity in geophysical testing and analysis methods, including EMI and GPR is a plus
