Responsibilities
Coat metal products with a hardening alloy according to customer or employer specifications
Communication skills are essential to work with team members
Possess ability to setup, operate and repair equipment
Must have good computer skills and ability to read engineering drawings/blueprints
Possess ability to multitask
Ability to use machinery to bevel or chamfer metal parts before coating and use of grinding tools
Ability to operate welding equipment used in the application of the hardening alloy
Ability to lift heavy items of up to around 70 pounds
Provide a great level of attention to detail, focus on the given task and strong attention to quality standards
Candidate must have reliable attendance
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus)
Reading blueprints
Willingness to learn
Verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks
Independent self-starter with ability to problem solve and anticipate and avoid issues
Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to win
